Following on from our recent case study, we’d like to introduce the Project Lead for Brook Farm, Mark Cobourn. Mark has been with Anderson Orr for six years, joining the practice as an experienced Project Architect, having worked for a number of well-known local and national firms. He has undertaken a broad range of projects during his time at AO, from developer housing to historic and new build private residences, including large country house replacement dwellings with leisure facilities.
Mark is a passionate, problem-solving Architect, who loves site works and the close working relationships with specialist consultants, suppliers, and contractors this brings. His care and attention to detail is evident in the projects he is involved with and the enthusiasm he has for each, and every, scheme is inspiring.
A collaborative and supportive colleague, Mark is always happy to provide technical guidance, share site knowledge or general mentoring advice. A popular member of the team, his straight-talking professional attitude and unquestioning commitment is appreciated by clients and site teams alike, making him often a first choice for repeat work and via recommendation.
Away from the office, but never far from the drawing board, Mark’s love of buildings and all things Architecture is unequivocal. Alongside his personal (and numerous) DIY and gardening projects, he is a dedicated artist and takes great pride in producing carefully detailed and beautifully prepared hand drawings and design sketches.
Mark has been involved with some outstanding projects, to date. Running alongside Brook Farm, he is Project Lead for a fantastic, and particularly complex, Grade II Listed conservation project, currently in for Planning - the results of which we hope to share in a couple of months. There are countless projects in progress and on the horizon for Mark, and we look forward to seeing his career continue to develop at the practice.
