This week, we’re excited to celebrate Harry Hutt, who has recently been promoted to Operations Manager! Harry has been an integral part of our team as a talented Architectural Assistant and 3D Artist, and his journey is marked by a relentless drive for learning and a deep-seated passion for design.
Harry’s architectural path began with a First-Class undergraduate degree, where his final year project earned a nomination for an RIBA Regional Award, setting the stage for a promising career in design. After a period working for a prestigious practice in London, Harry joined Anderson Orr, dedicating over half a decade to our team and becoming an invaluable asset across a myriad of facets within the organisation.
Far from the ‘Jack of all trades’ proverb, Harry’s specialism is becoming a master at anything he puts his mind to. A natural-born problem solver, he tackles every challenge with calm precision and an unwavering commitment to finding the very best resolution possible. He does not do things by halves; his technical expertise and keen eye for detail have been instrumental in leading the company’s graphic design, including a significant rebrand in November 2021, which firmly established the refreshed visual identity of AO. Beyond his creative prowess, Harry manages all IT operations, placing him as the ‘go-to’ person for any (and all!) issues, big or small—which he does with support and patience.
Harry’s creative visions are clean, subtle, and timeless, embodying his belief that good design should be refined and almost invisible. His contributions to the company’s Architectural and visualization projects are also invaluable.
In addition to his professional achievements, Harry recently celebrated a personal milestone in 2023, with his marriage to childhood sweetheart, Halina. Hosted at the beautiful Caswell House – a restoration project Harry and AO worked on some years back – it was the most stunning affair, with every detail planned, as expected, to perfection. Alongside his love for cricket and the closeness he and Halina share with their families, the couple spends much of their free time in the countryside, exploring the Cotswolds, having set up home together there last year.
As Harry steps into his new role as Operations Manager, we’re eager to see how his blend of creativity, precision, and passion will help drive Anderson Orr forward.
